Resolution Health Support Worker / Indian Day School Coordinator

I am an Anishnaabe/Dakota Woman, and my name is Leticia Racine. I am a registered Long Plain First Nation member in Treaty 1 Territory and was raised in Turtle Mountain, Manitoba. My parents are both residential school Survivors, and as an intergenerational survivor, I became a Warrior of the 60’s Scoop. Since my return to Our People, it has been with connection to culture and ceremony that has healed and continues to heal my spirit and soul on this Human Journey. Along with rooting me in my identity, returning to the Sacred Circle and learning to walk the Red Road Journey has dramatically helped me make sense of the trauma I experienced as a Spiritual Warrior in this world. I believe that everyone who is led to this work and chooses the path to break generational patterns of trauma is a Spiritual Warrior and here with great purpose. It is an honour to be part of the Indian Residential School Survivors Society team and to serve and work with Survivors who are the True Warriors of our time. Great Peace & Love to you.
