Rhianon Teegee
Resolution Health Support Worker / Indian Day School Coordinator
My name is Rhianon Teegee. I am Carrier/Gitxsan from Takla First Nation and sit with the Likh ji bu (Wolf) clan. I graduated from the University of Northern British Columbia in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Some of my past work experience include working with Indigenous youth at Carrier Sekani Family Services and Okanagan Nation Alliance. I was also an Aboriginal Student Recruitment Officer at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George. I knew that I have always wanted to be of service in some way to our Indigenous people, especially after seeing the impacts of the Residential Schools and Colonization. I am the Indian Day School Coordinator for the Fraser Salish region at IRSSS and looking forward to assisting in the wellness journeys of our resilient Indigenous people. Mussi (Thank you).
