Christina Draegen
Resolution Health Support Worker (RHSW)
I am a proud First Nation Algonquin and Ojibwa who was raised Cree Metis. I have lived in BC since I was 5 years old and consider Prince George to be my home. I have proudly raised two (2) Carrier sons from Old Fort Nation. My son’s and myself were surrounded by strong Cree women who inspired us to work hard and help our Peoples. This is my commitment.
In my professional life I have worked as a Counsellor, Indigenous Victim Service worker, Northern Regional Manager for Native Courtworker and Counselling Association of BC and am currently a Resolution Health Support Worker for IRSSS. During my time with NCCABC I had the privilege of leading a core group of community leaders to achieve establishing the first community driven Indigenous Court in the North.
I love being Indigenous and remain committed to doing my part to promote positive change amongst our communities.
